How long does a Blomo top-up take to arrive?

Blomo waits a fixed number of confirmations per network — about a minute on TRON, under two on Ethereum, about ten minutes on Bitcoin.

On every network Blomo accepts except Bitcoin, a top-up lands in under two minutes once the transfer is on chain. Bitcoin takes about ten minutes, because Blomo waits for one block and a Bitcoin block takes roughly ten. If you sent twenty minutes ago on TRON or Ethereum and nothing has appeared, the wait is not the explanation — something else is, and the last section of this page lists what.

How long each network takes

Blomo waits a fixed number of confirmations before it credits a balance. Multiply that by the network’s block time and you have the answer.

Network Confirmations Blomo waits Block time Time on chain
TRON — USDT, USDC, TRX 20 ~3 seconds ~1 minute
Ethereum — USDT, USDC, ETH 7 12 seconds ~1.5 minutes
Arbitrum — USDC 120 250 milliseconds ~30 seconds
BNB Chain — USDT 15 0.45 seconds ~7 seconds
Bitcoin — BTC 1 ~10 minutes ~10 minutes

The confirmation counts are Blomo’s own settings and are the same for every account and every card. Since 24 October 2026 a top-up on BNB Chain is made in USDT (BEP-20); the BNB coin is no longer accepted for top-ups. The block times are public facts about each network, checked on 13 September 2026:

  • Ethereum: twelve-second slots, ethereum.org developer docs.
  • TRON: about three seconds per block, and a block is irreversible once 19 of the 27 super representatives have built on it — roughly a minute, TRON developer docs.
  • Arbitrum: a default block time of 250 milliseconds, Arbitrum docs.
  • BNB Chain: 0.45 seconds since the Fermi hard fork activated on 14 January 2026, BNB Chain blog. Measured against the chain on 13 September 2026, one thousand consecutive blocks took 450 seconds, which is the same 0.45 seconds.
  • Bitcoin: the difficulty retarget aims at 2,016 blocks every 1,209,600 seconds, which is ten minutes a block, Bitcoin developer guide.

Add up to twenty seconds to every row. Blomo’s watcher checks the deposit addresses on a twenty-second cycle rather than continuously, so in the worst case a confirmed transfer waits one more cycle before it is seen.

The number of confirmations does not depend on the amount

Blomo waits the same number of confirmations for a 50 USDT top-up as for a 5,000 USDT one. The count is a property of the network, not of the sum: it is the caution Blomo set for that chain. A larger transfer is not held longer, and a smaller one is not released sooner.

This is worth stating plainly because the Blomo site used to say the opposite. It was wrong, and it has been corrected.

Why Bitcoin is still the slowest

Blomo credits a Bitcoin top-up after one confirmation, and a Bitcoin block arrives about every ten minutes on average. The average hides a spread: blocks sometimes come within a minute of each other and sometimes take half an hour or more, so a Bitcoin top-up can land quickly or keep you waiting well past ten minutes through nothing anyone at Blomo controls.

The counts on the other networks are set chain by chain, and they are not one number: Arbitrum’s 120 blocks come to about half a minute, TRON’s twenty to about a minute, BNB Chain’s fifteen to some seven seconds. Blomo publishes no measurement of how reversible each of those is, so read the counts as the caution Blomo chose chain by chain, not as proof that all of them are equally safe.

How long the top-up request stays open

A Blomo top-up is a request with a deadline, not a permanent address.

  • 20 minutes for TRON, Ethereum, Arbitrum and BNB Chain.
  • 60 minutes for Bitcoin — three times the usual window, because a Bitcoin block takes about ten minutes where the other networks take seconds.

When the deadline passes with nothing seen, the request is closed. Two things soften that. First, a request is only closed while it is still waiting: once the watcher has seen the transfer on chain, the deadline no longer applies and the top-up runs to completion however long the confirmations take. Second, Blomo keeps watching a closed request’s address for another 30 minutes, so a transfer sent just before the deadline is still credited on its own.

Past that half hour, the address is no longer polled and the transfer becomes a support question rather than something that resolves itself.

Nothing arrived and the time is up. What now?

In order of how often it actually turns out to be the cause:

  1. The transfer went out on a different network from the one the request was for. This is the one mistake that genuinely costs money. A related case, the BNB coin sent to a top-up address after Blomo stopped accepting it on 24 October 2026, is covered on its own page.
  2. Less arrived than the request asked for. A top-up that arrives noticeably short is not guaranteed to be credited automatically; it is not lost, and Blomo support sorts it out.
  3. The amount was below the 50 USDT minimum. A smaller deposit is not credited automatically either, and is handled case by case (terms, section 5).
  4. It is Bitcoin and the next block has not come yet. One confirmation, which is about ten minutes on average and sometimes much longer.
  5. The transfer is still unconfirmed on the sending side. Check the transaction in a block explorer before writing to anyone: if the explorer shows it as pending, no one downstream can make it go faster.

If none of these fit, write to support with the transaction hash. The hash is what makes the question answerable; without it the answer is a guess.

Quick answers

How long does a USDT top-up on TRON take? About a minute — twenty confirmations at roughly three seconds a block, plus up to twenty seconds for Blomo’s watcher to pick it up.

How long does a USDT top-up on Ethereum take? About a minute and a half — seven confirmations at twelve seconds a block.

Why is Bitcoin so much slower? Blomo waits one Bitcoin block, and a Bitcoin block takes about ten minutes on average — sometimes much longer.

Does a bigger top-up take longer to confirm? No. The number of confirmations is fixed per network and does not depend on the amount.

How long does the top-up address stay valid? Twenty minutes for TRON, Ethereum, Arbitrum and BNB Chain, and sixty minutes for Bitcoin. Blomo watches the address for a further thirty minutes after the request closes.

What if I send less than the request asked for? A top-up that arrives noticeably short, or under the 50 USDT minimum, is not guaranteed to be credited automatically. It is handled case by case; write to support.
